"I don’t outwardly show my emotions much, even now, but I use music to help me through. I latch onto albums and songs and burrow in deep and hopefully come out on the other end with some sense of resolve. Often it works, sometimes it falls short, but I’ve always had an easier time relating to other people’s problems than reflecting on my own. Maybe it’s because I’m better with abstraction, maybe it’s not the healthiest way to process things. But it helped me cope. It helped me move on."
